3 Reasons to Sign Up for Costco This November

If you aren’t currently a Costco member, November may be a great time to break out the credit cards and get signed up ASAP.

While the warehouse club offers great deals year-round, this month can be an especially beneficial time to join, as you can take advantage of some of the key perks and features that becoming a club member can offer during the upcoming holiday season.

Here are three big reasons why signing up now can make sense.

1. You can add Kirkland-brand products to your Thanksgiving menu

Costco offers some delicious delicacies that deserve a place on your Thanksgiving table — but only if you’re a club member.

If you don’t want to cook at all, the warehouse club’s Turkey Breast Roast Turkey Dinner can be an affordable and simple way to put up a full holiday spread. It serves eight to 10 people for $269, a pretty good deal when you consider that it includes:

  • A five-pound antibiotic-free turkey breast that’s pre-roasted
  • Two pounds of mashed potatoes
  • Two pounds of old-fashioned stuffing
  • A two-pound Brussels sprout casserole
  • A pound of green beans almondine
  • Cranberry, apple, and orange relish
  • Turkey gravy
  • A 10-inch baked pumpkin pie
  • A 10-inch baked apple pie

If you want the full meal, you’ll need to act fast since it’s already sold out in some locations.

However, even if you don’t want Costco to take care of Thanksgiving for you, there are plenty of other great items you can buy there to make your meal better, including a dozen Thanksgiving cake balls for a unique desert (which come at a cost of just $46.99), or a 12-inch pumpkin pie for only $5.99.

Want to save even more over the course of shopping for your holiday meal? Click here for our top tip on how to maximize your cash back at Costco.

2. You can do your Black Friday shopping at the warehouse club

Costco’s Black Friday deals are unbeatable, and the warehouse club offers Early Start deals throughout November that you can take advantage of.

For example, Sony Bravia’s 77-inch OLED TV is just $2,599.99 through Dec. 8, which is $1,300 off the regular retail price. While some other retailers are also offering the same model for a similar price, Costco’s deal includes a five-year protection plan which makes it a great bargain given the peace of mind you’re getting when making an expensive purchase.

If TVs aren’t your thing, Costco is already offering promotional holiday pricing on appliances, furniture, beauty products, shoes, jewelry, and more. But to get the best deals, you’ll need to join the club.

If you plan to go Black Friday (or pre-Black Friday) shopping, you’ll also want to make sure you’ve signed up for the best credit cards to use at Costco.

You can maximize your cash back, and potentially even qualify for a new cardmember sign-up bonus that can offset the cost of your holiday spending. Sign up today for a card you can use when you make your first trip as a new Costco member.

3. You can stock up on Christmas decor

Finally, Costco offers a huge selection of holiday decorations that can make your house look more festive than you ever imagined. From advent calendars to life-size nutcrackers to outdoor inflatables, you can get great bargains at this time of year on seasonal items.

For all of these reasons, November is an ideal time to sign up for a Costco membership. Give your bank account a break when shopping this holiday season by taking advantage of the great deals.
